It’s no secret, everyone and Earth is in the process of a re-set and great Transformation. Yet, what we need not only for navigating through this time for healing, our growth and development, and beyond this for our evolution is not even discussed! We may find fragments of things we can learn in different places but don’t get the overview or know all the areas that are vital for our recovery from our past, creating health and wellness, developing strength, and progressing. We didn’t learn about these areas from our families because they mostly don’t know, nor from any educational systems, medical or mental health providers, religious institutions, or spiritual advisers!
This is why this information is here, all together, and needs to find its way to as many people as possible… in this time of transformation it is time to heal, thrive, and uplevel for our evolution.
There are five main areas we are dealing with in our human journey at this time. Here is a brief review and later I’ll go into more detail. These areas are the challenges we all encounter through our lives, including for some depression, and anxiety, getting enough sleep, managing pain, healing which includes from trauma and when we are in recovery, and those people who are on the spiritual awakening and transformative experience journey which for many people does not include psychedelics but for some people it does.
As a person who has worked with people with mental health diagnosis and addiction, with people with cancer and immune compromised illness, with people who have chronic pain, and with individuals and groups on their spiritual journey for 30 years there are a group of foundational areas that are significant that contribute
- to our recovery
- and develop resilience
- to regaining our trust within and our connection with the world
- healing our body, mind, emotions, and spirit.
- moving beyond and activating our greater selves
But using methods I’ll explain later does significantly more! Because they reach deeply into all our relations and with ourselves that affects how our genes respond!
And there is a system of application, so we know where to start, how to continue, and how to go deeper and gain more because these methods are not a one-time intervention but for the long-term and continuous building in our lives.
These areas are not obscure but available to all of us including teens, children, old and young adults, they just require education, assembly in one place and attendance to integration. We need these essential areas for healing, to sustain health, and for our growth and development.
We have all been acculturated into staying in one state of consciousness almost all of the time. This means by being born at this time there is a shared agreement we reside primarily in one way of perceiving, while dismissing and denying the value of states where we gain inner restoration and insight. This main state we are in most of the time is where we are vigilant. Staying in the vigilance leads, for many people, to stress, depression and anxiety. Not everyone has depression and anxiety, but that does not mean benefits are only for this group, instead consider the prevalence of depression and anxiety like the canary in the coal mine as a sad warning of a culture that is off balance in values, connection, community, and perception.
Consider there are many ways we are being called and need to reconnect to our numinous inner wisdom to gain insight, Purpose, connection, understanding, and experience.
And there are ancient methods that are available to us now where the connection to the numinous is easy, a deep inner connection occurs and there are an amazing group of benefits. Reclaiming this connection restores our health in many different ways. Dr. Bernard Benson identified one of the characteristics of accessing these states with the Relaxation Response where people release stress, lessen depression and anxiety, while releasing positive hormones that make us feel good. The Relaxation Response occurs when we do different things like getting into nature, singing, walking a labyrinth, and doing activities where we get into a zone like art, and listening to particular music and sound, guided imagery, and meditation.
But just reading or hearing that last sentence isn’t enough because we need a system, and a plan, and methods to implement that are reliable tools that are available and with reliable, integrative practices.
In the method of specific sound and music patterns combined with guided imagery, and meditation that facilitates the relaxation response the trifecta impact is powerful and influential. Ancient people, and some cultures today draw upon these methods for healing, transformation, accessing profound insight, recovery, releasing stress, managing challenges, while building resilience, and gaining progress and growth in their spiritual journey. Not as an occasional foray but instead as a method to daily attunement, that releases cortisol, and strengthens our inner being.Â
Â
Simply by listening we are also able to connect to the mystical and numinous, the place where we develop and deepen our inner wisdom, that transforms our awareness from ordinary consciousness into states where we increase our insight, problem solving, intuition, and creativity, and where we encourage happiness.
Â
Simply by listening we have access to these methods that are applicable for transforming how we navigate through our world, deal with trauma or recovery, getting good sleep, lessen depression, anxiety, and dealing with pain. Simply by listening we can also transform how we manage the challenges we will face in our lives from litigation, going to the dentist, surgery for ourselves or a loved one or other difficult situations.
Â
It is through listening to particular sound patterns where the focus on the outer world diminishes and our inner world is heightened, connecting to higher consciousness, restoration, where melatonin and dopamine are released, and we feel better.
Â
How do I know listening to particular sounds and music, using specific guided imagery combined with meditation are effective?
I had the opportunity when I worked in Internal Medicine to work with pain patients. These were people who had chronic pain some from cancer and for other reasons. I did research through Arizona State University, with these pain patients using particular sound and music patterns. The research revealed pain levels decreased, and they no longer felt powerless, they had better sleep and were also in a better mood! Wow!
Â
I worked in a clinic for cancer and immune compromised illness and separately in several residential treatments centers, one for substance abuse for woman, one that was for mental health diagnosis and eating disorders. I developed the sound meditation programs during that time and have incorporated the different practices into the online programs. People told me they looked forward each week to the programs and one woman told me it saved her life!
Â
These same specific sound and music meditation were used in groups and with individuals who were studying with me on their spiritual journey and had different and a range of experiences including Near-death experiences or in an individual session for over thirty years.
Â
It got to be a regular experience to hear many people spontaneously report they could not meditate and had given up. And how surprised they were about their experience with the sound and music and their takeaways. People gained skills in their perceptions as well as understanding of their experiences. Â
Â
What are the five main areas in our human journey that are significantly and positively changed simply by listening to specific sound and music patterns?
Â
Mastering Challenging Times
In our lives each of us will encounter situations that are stressful and for some of us cause anxiety and distress. These situations include dentist appointments, having an illness or accident, experiencing litigation, a divorce, loss, or we may need surgery or have a family member that does. Having a tool to use with an easy-to-follow guide that connects us to our inner center during these times not only releases stress and anxiety but also contributes to navigating through feeling better, more peaceful, less disrupted, and comforted.
Â
When there is an easy-to-follow process that releases stress it helps us sleep better and make better choices. And the more familiar we are with the listening process the easier it is to connect quickly and easily.
Â
Getting Good Sleep
Sleep is another critical area for our restoration in all our organs and systems. Without enough sleep we are not able to make good decision or perform at work, not good as a driver, often can be cranky, moody, or depressed. Sleep also helps with processing what is occurring in our lives. Getting good sleep benefits people who have a physical illness, are in recovery from an accident, have a mental health diagnosis, and when going through challenges. We also need our dreams because they give us insight, sometimes a loved one who has passed visits in our dreams, we turn over concerns and can get answers the next day.
Â
How listening to specific sound and music patterns are like listening to a lullaby.
When a child listens to a lullaby they are awake or maybe having a difficult time unwinding. The sounds of the lullaby carry the child into a relaxed state where they go from waking to the in between state, between waking and sleep, and then into sleep. Like children, adults can listen to specific sounds and music that carries the listener to sleep just like a lullaby.Â
Pain ManagementÂ
During our lives we can experience pain from a back injury, headache, illness, or accident. Pain often keeps people from accomplishing daily tasks and interferes with movement. In the US people often seek out a pill to deal with their pain but there is plenty of research on how listening to specific music diminishes pain and the experience of pain. Just like in my successful research, the Pain Management Program has journals and logs, and pain assessments to see progress and to notice what is changing. In all of the programs there is additional content with practices that support the body, mind, emotions, and spirit as well as a best practices video and content on how to be successful.
Â
The Healing Program
Healing is a large area that covers our physical body, mind, emotions, and spirit and is beneficial for people who have experienced trauma, need restoration, or are in recovery. The healing program has integrative content that supports release, growth, and gives a system to easily follow that diminishes stress and releases cortisol. In addition the practices develop inner strength and resilience, while also tapping into methods that build the physical body, energy bodies, emotions, thoughts and mind, and spirit with integrative practices. There are methods for clearing and restoration of lost energy plus affirmations and confirmations for being present on Earth that provide integration and understanding of encounters, and heightened experiences to sustain harmony and wellbeing. The Healing Program, like all the other programs, is designed not as a one-time intervention but instead as reliable system that deepens with continued practice over time.
Spiritual Awakening and Transformative Experiences Program
Many people are having spiritual awakening and or a transformative experience that changes them deeply. These experiences may be a one-time occurrence like a Near-death experience, or kundalini awakening or a less dramatic experience. Some people have continuous spiritual awakening experiences throughout their lives which can be from a nighttime dream, deep meditations, visiting a sacred location, a meeting with a particular person and Shaktipat, going through a difficult or even traumatic experience. Other experiences that are becoming more prevalent is awareness of other realms and those who have passed, as well as out of body experiences, and having different intuitive abilities.
In addition to the above examples psychedelic assistance whether done with or without a guide transcends the ordinary. Whether a person is doing micros-dosing or not continued progress and practices that assist in balancing and navigating the ordinary world are invaluable because psychedelics raise sensitivities and heighten awareness and perceptive abilities, often opening the heart and energy systems. Â Â
In all of the above examples it is beneficial to develop understanding, sometimes deal with loss or trauma, rebalance and harmonize the neurological system, mental and emotional systems, energy systems, and gain methods to continue adjustments as we navigate our lives.
Having effective methods and tools as well as a guide that provides stabilization
creates a much easier path, develops inner spaciousness, resilience, with consistent methods that provide support as the spiritual journey continues. In the Spiritual Awakening and Transformative Experience Program there is an easy-to-follow system as a guide with different reliable practices that create support, expansion, accelerate healing, and transformation.
The 3Melete Programs are getting dynamic programs that change the paradigm for essential areas in our live. And they are reviving our own ability to manage and navigate through the experiences we encounter on our journey because once you have the tools there is a deeper shift in your being and continence, creating the foundation that gives you the ability to travel the stars with your feet on the ground!
