Are We Being Pushed to an Evolutionary Leap to Survive?
That question sounds dramatic however, the prevalence of the diseases that kill people are consistent and pervasive. The research is plentiful, it is now a given about our condition of being human at this time; it is fraught with different physical and mental health issues that plague us all, like heart disease, and Alzheimer’s, Parkinsons, dementia, diabetes, cancer, addiction, and even mental health diagnosis like depression, anxiety, schizophrenia, and bipolar all have the same origination. To remedy the origination, there is a resolution, which is simple to do. The other part that is pushing us to evolve is the research on both the underlying cause of these diseases and conditions and what consistently and easily transforms how we respond to the conditions that cause these illnesses. Deep healing in our genetic responses!
You will not hear about this from mainstream. And the necessary changes do not come from the dominant industries. There is no financial gain for them. You might even be skeptical because you think something of supreme value has to be elusive, or difficult, or charge a phenomenal amount to be truly effective, or to offer it only to those who have a lot of cash to get it. Keeping the methods available only to the few does not benefit our collective evolution.
In conventional terms the practices could be considered a hack. A true hack that challenges our proclivity for heart disease, diabetes, cancer, addiction, and even mental health diagnosis like depression, anxiety, schizophrenia, and bipolar. Since science has already linked cortisol production to inflammation and the stress response to chronic cortisol production it is connecting the dots to the rest of scientific research that has already been proven.
Can the Prevalent Mental, Emotional, and Physical Diseases be Easily Intervened Upon with our Own Genetic Responses to the Stressors We Encounter?
Yes, but there are three huge gaps in getting to the content. One is in understanding the prevalence of the conditions listed above and how they are pushing us to change and evolve. The number two gap, is understanding the underlying cause of these illnesses, and why that is important. The third gap is there are no programs that are available! Getting the extensively researched intervention and verified methods that are simple to use and simple to get the benefits to as many people as possible.
By now you probably know from the list mentioned above someone that has one or more of the diseases which also maybe you! This list includes heart disease, (the leading cause of death worldwide), diabetes, cancer, Alzheimer’s’ disease, dementia, Parkinson Disease, immune compromised illness, fibromyalgia, addiction, as well as psychiatric diagnosis like schizophrenia, bipolar, anxiety, and depression. Consider these are the impetus to evolve.
What is the Underlying Connection With All of these Diseases?
What is the underlying connector? It’s simple really, we are all responding to a group of challenges that include toxic chemicals, environmental agents of contamination in the air or water, on our clothes and in our food, trauma, or even generational trauma. These exposures cause inflammation. In some cases inflammation is a beneficial response in wound healing and infection control, but when inflammation becomes chronic, it’s presence shows there is a pathology or malfunction in the system that is erosive and leads to illness. This malfunction is caused by stress, long term stress, and repeated and different stressors that co-occur. Inflammation in the brain can disrupt neural pathways, affecting mood, cognition, and behavior. Additional stressors can be family upheaval, going to the dentist, doctor’s appointments, a diagnosis, medical issues, surgery, flying, financial challenges, litigation, relationship challenges, loss, starting over, moving, public speaking, and even interviews.
While there is plenty of research that shows inflammation as the underlying condition of all the above mental, emotional, and physical diseases there is a huge gap in getting reliable, easy to use, accessible methods to the people. Plus once you have the system that diminishes stress and boosts the immune system and cognition, assists with getting good sleep, healing and more, you own it, you keep using it because the benefits continue as long as you keep using the practices, and there is no extra visits or charges. And as you continue to work with the system your abilities to manage, expand, and accelerate go deeper and there are more benefits. Plus you can share the methods. It isn’t very capitalistic.Â
The Intervention for Transformation
The intervention and transformation occurs through sound and musical listening that evokes the relaxation response which interfaces and positively changes our respiration, heart rate and brain waves. This process is reliable, with a long list of healing benefits (listed below) and through listening, resolution and insight develop and there is a heightening of creativity, insight, problem solving and intuition the characteristics of neuroplasticity, which is the opposite of cognitive decline, and memory loss.
Intervention Upon Inflammation
Lessening stress and getting through challenges by using particular sound and music transports the listener simply into the Relaxation Response where anxiety, depression, stress, and cortisol diminish as well as pain! This same process of connection to the relaxation response develops resilience, inner strength, and the ability to problem-solve while deepening inner wisdom. We are no longer being called but now pushed in a new direction for our mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual well-being! So we are not fraught with the ills of the modern day that are so prevalent they are normalized. But it isn’t like having to go to the gym or to a therapist for years. It’s way easier; listening transports our body, mind, and spirit, (that compliments any religious practices) into a receptive state that accesses our genetic system’s response to stress, known as epigenetics.
Epigenetic Changes Activate Genetic Responses that Regulate the Immune Response
Epigenetics is the study of how external factors can change the expression of our genes without altering the DNA sequence itself. Think of it as the software that runs on our genetic hardware. Epigenetic changes are like switches that can turn genes on or off. In the context of inflammation, the exciting part is that we can influence these epigenetic changes through our behaviors, we activate switches that affect how our genes respond. Listening to specific sound and music is an influential and positive transformational positive genetic activator!
How Does the Epigenetic Response Work?
Our stress response and cortisol production leads to chronic inflammation and the fight, flight, freeze, (and fawn) response. But when the epigenetic Relaxation Response is activated there is a reduction in cortisol production, stress is lowered, and inflammation is reduced. There are also simultaneous positive changes in heart rate, brain waves, and respiration that are calming, and the release of dopamine and melatonin furthers progress and enhances relaxation.

We are Re-discovering the Methods that Support Transforming from the hypervigilant response of elevated heart rate, thoughts are on alert, and shallower breathing that are not beneficial to stay in all of the time. These changes positively affect our physiology, uplifting our receptivity. And, amazingly the more we experience and practice the feelings of the relaxation response, the process deepens over time with consistent use, and we gain more!

We can intervene upon this hypervigilant state of inflammation and chronic stress and change our system’s response to the stressors, traumas, and environmental exposures that result in the illnesses of our day. We can change our immune system’s responses of inflammation to healing! We can do this for ourselves and teach our teens and children. We can build genetic responses as second nature and be able to move beyond the stressors that trigger disease quicker and gain further benefits! Is this our destiny to evolve or die, simply by listening?
